Cardi B’s comments came a day after a gunman opened fire at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York, killing ten people.

“Ten people were killed by a gunman dressed in body armor and armed with a high-powered rifle, while three others were wounded — two of them critically,” a police official on the site and another law enforcement source verified

Buffalo is located in western New York, near the Canadian border.

The 18-year-old, who is white, was wearing body armor and military-style attire when he pulled up to a Tops Friendly Market around 2.30 pm and began shooting. A camera mounted on the man’s helmet broadcast the attack.

In a paper medical gown, he was later put before a judge on murder accusations.

According to Buffalo police, 13 persons were shot in total. Eleven of the victims were African-American, while two were Caucasian. According to officials, four of the victims were store employees.
