Kirsten watched Spider-Man or Not

Kirsten Dunst hasn’t watched Spiderman: no way home, YET! – will eventually watch it with son.

Kirsten Dunst just got nominated for the SAG awards for her formidable performance in “The Power of the Dog.” In an interview about the nomination, Kirsten, 39, said she hadn’t watched the new spiderman movie. Knowing that her spiderman co-star, and friend, Tobey Maguire is in the film, she plans to watch the film eventually.

“I haven’t. I’m sorry!” she says with a giggle.

“I know I have to. I know Tobey’s in it, and it’s such a huge surprise, and everyone’s freaking out. I will. I’ll eventually watch it. You know, I’ll watch it with my son because he’s starting to get into Spider-Man stuff. There’s, like, a little-kid version of Spider-Man that he watches, so maybe he’ll watch it with me.” says Kirsten, who portrayed the role the Spiderman’s main love interest, the beautiful redhead, Mary Jane.

Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst starred in the three spiderman movies from 2002-to 2007 and showed quite intriguing chemistry. When asked that is she interested in playing Mary Jane again, the diva replied: “‘That Would Be Fun.”

“It’s such a cool legacy to be a part of, and to be the first one and be a Spiderman fan,” she says. “I feel like that’s a really special thing because these fans have lived with these movies for so long and have grown up with it. It’s legacy things that feel really exciting. It’s nice to be excited about something. All of us are dealing with so much right now”, the “Marie Antoinette” actress expressed.

Given that a multiverse has been introduced, Dunst confirms that she is more than happy to take the role of Mary Jane again.

Dunst further expressed how she felt about the movie by adding: “It’s nice to have people want to go to the movie theatre and see something that really makes their heart happy,” saying, “I saw a reaction video [from a No Way Home screening] that someone sent me and I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ People really needed this right now — more than ever.”
